CRAFTING CREATIVITY  AND TRADITION

House of Avishka is more than a tribal art brand—it is a social enterprise dedicated to preserving the rich artistic heritage of Bastar while creating sustainable livelihood opportunities for the tribal communities who have protected these traditions for generations.

Born from a deep admiration for the craftsmanship of Bastar, Chhattisgarh, House of Avishka was established with a simple yet meaningful purpose: to connect the timeless artistry of tribal artisans with homes and collectors around the world, while ensuring that the true creators receive the recognition, respect, and economic opportunities they deserve.

Every piece in our collection carries a story. From the intricate Dhokra (bell metal) sculptures crafted using the ancient lost-wax casting technique to hand-forged wrought iron creations, terracotta, bamboo, woodwork, and traditional tribal décor, each product reflects centuries of knowledge, culture, and craftsmanship passed down through generations. Bastar's tribal handicrafts are internationally recognized for their authenticity and cultural significance, yet many artisans continue to face limited market access and economic challenges.

At House of Avishka, we believe that buying handcrafted art should create value far beyond beautiful décor. Every purchase contributes to preserving traditional craftsmanship, encouraging younger generations to continue their ancestral skills, and supporting artisan families with sustainable income. Our mission is to bridge the gap between rural artisans and modern global consumers through ethical sourcing, fair partnerships, and responsible business practices.

Our vision extends beyond commerce. We aspire to make Bastar Tribal Art a globally admired symbol of India's cultural richness while building an ecosystem where artisans become entrepreneurs, traditions become sustainable livelihoods, and every handcrafted creation tells a story of resilience, heritage, and hope.

House of Avishka is committed to authenticity, quality, sustainability, and cultural preservation. We work to ensure that every artifact reaching our customers remains true to its origins while meeting contemporary expectations of craftsmanship and design.

As we grow, our purpose remains unchanged: to transform every purchase into an investment in people, culture, and heritage.

House of Avishka — Preserving Heritage. Empowering Artisans. Bringing the Soul of Bastar to the World.
